EVALUATION OF EVENTS AND EXERCISES (“AFTER ACTION REPORT”)
1. Upon 72 hours of an “All Clear” of an event or exercise, an after-action debriefing for those involved in the incident command structure will occur. The template for the after-action report and critique is located in the Emergency Management Manual.
2. After each Emergency Management Exercise or actual disaster, the Emergency Operations Plan shall be reviewed by the Emergency Management Committee and review dates shall be noted on the footer of the EOP. Recommendations and opportunities for improvement from the pervious exercise or actual event shall be used to revise the EOP.
